Need

Prompted by someone somewhere saying something....vague enough for ya?  No, seriously, prompted by someone saying that Dean needs Cas right now, after all the angst from Sex and Violence.  Double Drabble.

Dean had never needed anyone as much in that moment.  Not even Sammy, not even when Sammy had been bleeding out in his arms.  Not even then, the worst moment of Dean's life.  But when Castiel walked, or rather appeared, in the doorway of the motel, Sam off doing god knows that with god knows who, Dean almost collapsed, and Castiel seemed to sense that, because in an instant his arms were around Dean lowering him to the floor as he clutched at Cas's shirt, hot angry tears rolling down his cheeks and Castiel's hands in his hair, his breath on his neck, voice in his ear. 

“I've got you.”

Dean was in his arms, Dean Winchester was in Castiel's arms and nothing had mattered more than this. When Dean's breathing beame less ragged he pushed away from Castiel, swiping angrily at the tears on his face. Castiel was caught between wanting to pull Dean back into the safe haven of his arms, and wanting Dean to be ok, to smirk, to laugh this off with a flippant remark.

He hadn't been expecting Dean to curl his fingers into his trench coat and cover Castiel's mouth with his, stealing his breath, sealing both their fates with that one simple action.

What a perfect lunch break treat! God, if only this could actually happen when Cas comes back (only I'm pretty sure his damn first episode back is going to have him and Dean at loggerheads, what with the return of crappy!Anna in the same ep and all *grumbles*). This really is wonderful, though. Thank Dolores for me. Dean really does need him... NOW!!!

It would take an angel to comfort after that horrible ending! Nice to wrap it up, too. I disliked the end of the ep, but you take care of it, quite nicely.

If Dean wants a angel to be with he has to choose Castiel and not that girl. She was so bland that I can't remember her name. lol
